Forest Therapy or forest bathing, as you may have heard it called, is a practice wherein we surround ourselves with the forest to build connections with the more than human world and remember ourselves. Forest therapy is inspired by the Japanese method of Shinrin Yoku which translates to forest bath. This practice was popularized in Japan as an effort to counteract disconnection that resulted from the rise of large cities and increased use of technology.
On a forest therapy walk your guide will prompt you with a series of invitations to foster connection. This practice is a sensory, "bodyful" experience to help you slow down and get out of your head. This relational approach reminds people that we too are nature.

Experience the healing power of nature during
a forest therapy walk. Forest therapy, also
called forest bathing, is a practice of slowing down
and connecting to the natural work. During the
walk you will be guided with a series of invitations
to open your senses and notice your surroundings.
Thank you for booking a nature experience with Get Into Nature!
Once your experience is confirmed you will receive an invoice for the agreed upon fee. Fees cover operating, planning, supply and travel costs in addition to the time of the experience itself. My fees are based on several years of experience in group facilitation, education and specialized training. If permits are required for the location of your experience, those costs will be included in your invoice.
Forest Therapy is an outdoor experience, and I will hold events in all types of weather as long as safety can be assured. Wind, light rain and snow flurries are part of nature and add to our connection with the natural world. You will be prompted to dress for whatever weather we expect to have. In the cases of severe and unsafe weather we will work with you to reschedule your event.
Payment is due within one week of your experience. I understand that life happens, and you may need to cancel your experience. If cancelled prior to one week in advance, a full refund will be given. Cancellation up to 72 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellation after that will not receive a refund.
Please consider these policies when booking an experience. Thank you for supporting a small, woman-owned business! You can remit payment for your services here.
