I have combined my love of nature with my guiding and photography work.
As I spend time with nature, observing the beings with me, I am often inspired
to capture their spirit with my lens. I specialize in native plants, local wildlife and
the landscapes of our beautiful Illinois parks and preserves. Our natural world
is full of wonders that bring me peace everyday.
All photos on this page and throughout the website are my work.

Mindful Photography course at The Morton Arboretum
Next session is September 12th - Check back for registration link
In this special offering, you are invited to bring your camera along on a forest therapy walk to capture the magic you uncover. Unlike setting out into the forest with a specific target shot you want to get, forest bathing with your camera is about letting the shot reveal itself to you.
We will use traditional forest bathing invitations to deepen your connection with the land, slow down and let the forest show you the treasures you can capture with your lens.
All levels and cameras are welcome and encouraged to participate.
This program meets in person at the Arboretum
