In this special offering, you are invited to bring your camera along on a forest therapy walk to capture the magic you uncover. Unlike setting out into the forest with a specific target shot you want to get, forest bathing with your camera is about letting the shot reveal itself to you.
We will use traditional forest bathing invitations to deepen your connection with the land, slow down and let the forest show you the treasures you can capture with your lens.
All levels and cameras are welcome and encouraged to participate.

I am honored to have two pieces featured alongside the poetry of Karen Hurley Kuchar in her posthumously published book of poetry, How to live While Dying.
Karen was a mentor, friend and endless inspiration to all those who were lucky enough to cross her path. We met when she hired me at Family Shelter Service and we stayed close over the years. Karen encouraged my photography early on and seemed to know before I did how transformational it would be for me.
